The DI-120 Spotless Water SystemTM comes complete with one 20 inch cartridge
containing a mixed bed of de-ionizing resin that will produce approximately 200 gallons
of mineral-free water based on an average TDS level of 200 ppm. Depending on the
quality of the water where you live, you can get between 75 and 1000 gallons of deionized
water from one resin cartridge. The DI-120 CR Spotless Water System has an
integrated stand that makes it easy to lift and carry anywhere with only one hand. All CR
Spotless Water Systems also include a battery operated TDS meter that will measure the
quality of the water coming out of the system. When the TDS level approaches 020
ppm, it is time to replace the resin in the cartridge or insert a new, pre-filled cartridge.
Replacing the resin with our pre-measured resin refill bags is easy. Simply remove the
cartridges from the housings, unscrew the white cap, and empty the used resin into a
trash container. Cut the corner off one of the heat-sealed nylon bags and squeeze the
contents into the cartridge. Re-attach the blue housing to your system, and you're good
to go again.

But it does. I live in NC so our water is not very hard, but it's hard enough to leave water spots if I don't thoroughly dry my cars. And I wash cars often. So I got this thing, it was totally assembled, I just hooked it up to the faucet and put my hose on the other end. Can't get any simpler than that. Washed the car, carefully rinsed it off to get all of the soap, and then I just left it alone overnight. The next morning I carefully checked every panel on my very black car and there was not a spot to be found. Same with the glass - perfectly clean and spotless. This product is great! Now how long it will last before you need to replace the resin material depends on how hard your water is, so I'll keep track of that and try to remember to update this review. If you have the money to spend (and it is expensive) I think you'll be very happy with the results. BTW I did a lot of shopping on these things... It works fine on my orange car, red truck, but leaves spots on my black car. The monitor says it's working as it shows the TDS at zero. It is better than nothing, for the 5th wash on the black car I'm going to try air drying it down the interstate.Update air drying by driving down the interstate worked good only had a few small streaks on the back bumper. |
